The grass is not greener.

I have a friend who is going through his second marriage. Whenever we are talking, he tells me how he admires what my wife and I have accomplished. To me it really is not a big deal, but to him it seems to hold a special meaning. One day I asked him what happened with him and his first wife. He simply said, he thought the grass was greener on the other side. He was a person who thought things was going to be different with the women he cheated with outside his home. He felt that life was going to be one big party that would not stop. It was only after a few months that he realized that he had the same obligations in a serious relationship, as if he was married. He was required to be romantic, date and spend time with those other women. Now in hindsight, he realizes that the grass is not greener on the other side. Do you know anyone in a similar situation?
